General Terms
TERMS OF PAYMENT:
A deposit of 40% of the total price must accompany the booking. The balance of the payment must be received not less than 35 days before the date of arrival. The owner reserves the right to regard the booking as cancelled if the balance of the price remains unpaid after the due date, and shall be entitled to retain any deposit paid. For bookings made less than 35 days prior to arrival date, immediate payment of the total cost is required. Remittance may be made by bank transfer, Visa or Mastercard. Credit card payments attract a 2% surcharge.
CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT:
The person who signed the booking form must make any cancellation in writing. Cancellation of accommodation will apply from the date of receipt of the written cancellation advice. The following charges will apply :
- More than 35 days prior to arrival date – 10% of total cost.
- 35 – 14 calendar days prior to arrival date – 60% of total cost.
- 13 calendar days or less prior to arrival date – 100% of total cost.
CANCELLATION BY THE OWNER:
In the unlikely event that specific accommodation ceases to be available as booked, the owner will refund the client all monies paid (including deposit).
CLEANING:
The apartment is cleaned at the end of each rental period. Extra cleaning during the rental period may be arranged but will incur a charge.
KEY COLLECTION:
Full details of key collection will be confirmed once final documentation has been issued.
RESPONSIBILITY :
The owner shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity that may be caused to person or property however caused or arising during the accommodation period. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance. No responsibility is accepted in the event the client has failed to arrange travel insurance.
SECURITY DEPOSIT:
A security deposit of €150.00 will be charged. This amount is payable at the time of arrival in euros to the on-site manager. It will then be refunded in full on termination of the rental, unless there are costs to be deducted for damages or extra cleaning.
The apartment must be vacated in a clean and tidy state.
